Stuffed sandwiches can be considered a complete dish, to be filled with the ingredients you like most, which you can vary from time to time, but also using leftovers from previous days or as a fridge cleaner!
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Cooking time: 30 Minutes
- Portions: 5 people
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 5 Hamburger buns
- 5 Eggs
- 1.75 oz Emmentaler
- 1 tbsp Parmigiano Reggiano (grated)
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 3.5 oz Smoked bacon (diced)
- 1 tsp Parsley
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
Preparation
Hollow out the buns by removing the crumb, but do not leave the edge too thin, otherwise, it will soak.
Mix together the eggs, milk, grated Emmentaler and Parmigiano, the bacon after frying it, the chopped onion, salt, pepper.
Fill the buns with the mixture and place in the oven at 356°F for 30 minutes.
Notes
Be careful not to remove too much crumb, otherwise the sandwich will tend to soften, but also not to leave too much, otherwise you will manage to add little filling
