Ingredients
- 35 zucchini flowers (small, approximately)
- 3.5 oz cooked ham (sliced)
- 5.3 oz cheese (Bel Paese)
- 3 Eggs
- as needed Breadcrumbs
- as needed Olive oil
- 1 pinch Fine salt
Preparation
Clean the zucchini flowers by removing the pistil inside and the outer filaments.
Cut the cheese and ham into small rectangles.
Stuff the zucchini flowers with some small pieces of cheese and ham, trying not to break them, as they are very delicate.
Beat the eggs in a plate with a pinch of salt. Dip the stuffed zucchini flowers first in the egg and then in breadcrumbs.
Place them on the oven tray covered with parchment paper, drizzle with a little olive oil, and bake at 356°F for 20/25 minutes
Tips/Advice
Please, do not wash the zucchini flowers with water, they would get soaked and break.
Try to clean them well simply with your hands, gently removing the pistil inside, trying not to break them. It is not an easy operation, you need to arm yourself with a lot of patience.
