Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 packet baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • as needed hazelnut cream
  • as needed powdered sugar

Steps

  • Place the flour and sugar in a bowl, mix the ingredients.

  • Now add the cocoa, baking powder, and baking soda, mix everything with a spoon.

  • In another bowl, place the eggs, milk, and oil, mix with a whisk.

  • Now pour the dry ingredients into the bowl with the wet ingredients and mix with a whisk.

  • Incorporate the chocolate chips and mix the ingredients.

  • You will get a fluid and chocolaty mixture.

  • Butter and flour the muffin cups, fill them about halfway with the chocolate mixture, add a teaspoon of hazelnut cream.

  • Cover everything with a little more chocolate mixture. Do not overfill the cups, otherwise, the muffin will spill out during baking. You will get about 12 cups with a diameter of 1.77 inches and about 6 cups with a diameter of 2.36 inches.

  • Bake at 356°F (180°C) for about 20-25 minutes. I recommend always doing the toothpick test, if it comes out dry the muffins will be ready.

  • Dust the surface with a little powdered sugar. Now all that’s left is to enjoy them!
