Vegetarian Cubes with Soy Sauce is an ideal recipe to make vegetables appealing even to those who don’t particularly like them. The sauce adds an original and special touch to the recipe, although you can enjoy it on its own. You can also choose to change the vegetables, but I found this combination of peas and carrots really perfect. I used a gadget I had at home to slice the carrots into strips, have you ever seen one? It’s manual, but really effective. Below you will find other recipes with carrots:

Ingredients
- 14 oz carrots (already cleaned)
- 7 oz frozen peas
- 1 pinch coarse salt (for the peas' water)
- 2 oz onion (minced)
- 8 eggs
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 pinches fine salt
- 1 tsp potato starch
- 1 pinch black pepper (ground)
- 2 tbsps vegetable oil
- 4 tbsps soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried onion
- 1 pinch chili powder
Steps
Put about half a pot of water, once it boils add a pinch of coarse salt and the frozen peas. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, until they become soft. Drain them with a slotted spoon and place them in a bowl.
Meanwhile, wash and clean the carrots. Slice them into thin matchsticks, I used an old machine I had at home, but you can easily do it with a knife.
With this type of machine, you will get quite thin slices.
In a bowl, put the eggs and add the carrots inside.
Add the previously blanched peas.
Now add the pepper, salt, oil, potato starch and mix.
Mix well, pour into a 12×9 inch baking dish that you have previously oiled lightly. Level well and bake at 356°F for about 20-25 minutes.
Remove from oven and cut into cubes about 1 inch on each side.
In a bowl, place all the ingredients, mix them well with a fork so that they blend completely.
And now dip your cubes in the sauce and enjoy them!
