Find here a tasty recipe with corn flakes:
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Very inexpensive
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 1 3/4 cups corn flakes
- Cooking methods: Stovetop
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All seasons
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 3/4 cups corn flakes
- 2 tsp food coloring (red)
- 3 tbsp water
Preparation
In a small saucepan, melt the sugar with water.
Add the food coloring.
Put the corn flakes into the saucepan and stir well with a spoon to color them as evenly as possible.
Place the corn flakes on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper to dry, trying to separate them from each other.
Notes
To dry the corn flakes better, place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray and spread them out on top, bake for 5 minutes at 320°F, then let them cool and if necessary separate them from each other. For a finer color, you can use powdered sugar.
