  • Preparation time: 30 Minutes
  • Portions: 4 people
  • Cooking methods: Stove
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All seasons

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 pinches fine salt
  • 4 oz cooked ham (for the filling)
  • 2.8 oz spreadable fresh cheese (for the filling)
  • as needed olive oil (for the pan)

Steps

  • On a work surface, place the flour in a mound, add the yogurt, salt, and oil.

  • Knead the ingredients well until you get a smooth, compact dough that is not sticky. If you have time, let it rest for about ten minutes wrapped in plastic wrap or covered by a container.

  • Now take the dough and divide it into 2 parts.

  • Flour a work surface well, roll out the first part with a rolling pin, trying to form a circle about 10 inches in diameter.

  • Lightly heat a non-stick pan, you can lightly oil it. Place the first yogo-flatbread inside.

If you prefer, prepare the flatbread already filled and covered in the pan and then put it on the heat, so you can take your time, avoiding the bottom one from burning.

  • Spread it with cheese, place slices of cooked ham on top.

  • Cover everything with the second yogo-flatbread, try to seal the edges, cook it on one side for three or four minutes on medium flame.

  • Flip it to cook the other side for another three or four minutes. It should be nicely golden.

Suggestions, Tips
