Ingredients

  • 4 slices rustic bread
  • 3.5 oz cherry mozzarella balls
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste dried oregano
  • A few leaves basil

Steps

  • Place the slices of bread in a hot pan and toast them for 2-3 minutes per side until they become crunchy.

    Alternatively, we can cook them in an air fryer at 365°F for 4-5 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.

    Meanwhile, cut the cherry tomatoes into small cubes or slices. Slice the mozzarella thinly or, if using cherry mozzarella balls, slice them into rounds.

  • Arrange the mozzarella and cherry tomatoes on the slice of toasted bread, alternating them to create a neat and inviting effect.

    Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, add a pinch of salt and a sprinkle of oregano.

    Top with fresh basil leaves and serve the caprese bruschetta immediately to enjoy the crunchy bread and fresh toppings.
