Ingredients
- 1 package canned chickpeas
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
Tools
- Air Fryer
- Mixer
- Bowl
Steps
Rinse the canned chickpeas under running water and drain them thoroughly.
Place them in a mixer and blend them until a creamy consistency is achieved. If necessary, add a splash of water.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add the flour, extra virgin olive oil, and salt. Knead the dough until a smooth and homogeneous dough is obtained.
Take small pieces of dough and form sticks about 2.5 inches long. Join the ends of each stick to form small rings, the classic shape of tarallini.
Place them in the drawer of the air fryer previously lined with the appropriate parchment paper. If using a larger air fryer, line the trays.
Bake the tarallini at 340°F for 12/15 minutes until golden brown.
Our chickpea tarallini in air fryer are ready. After cooking, let them cool on a rack to become even crunchier.
