Chickpea, tuna, and cherry tomato salad. You only need 3 ingredients and in 15 minutes you’ll prepare a fresh and tasty dish, perfect for a quick lunch or a summer dinner.
This recipe requires no cooking, but in just 15 minutes you’ll have a light and nutritious dish, great as a main course or even as an appetizer.
The chickpea, tuna, and cherry tomato salad is a great alternative to Caprese Potato Salad or Lentil Salad, but also Octopus and Potato Salad or Summer Farro Salad.
You can prepare it the day before to take it with you to the beach, the pool, or even to the office.

- 1 cup canned chickpeas
- 5.6 oz tuna in oil
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- to taste salt
- to taste extra virgin olive oil

Steps
Preparing this dish is really easy.
Drain and rinse the chickpeas under running water.
Drain the tuna and place it in a glass bowl along with the chickpeas.
Wash the cherry tomatoes and, with the help of a knife and a cutting board, cut them in half or into quarters.
Add them to the chickpeas and tuna. Season with salt, extra virgin olive oil, and mix well to combine all the ingredients.
Our chickpea, tuna, and cherry tomato salad is ready to be served. It can be enjoyed immediately or allowed to rest in the refrigerator for half an hour to better blend the flavors.
