Country-style Chicken Bites

Country-style chicken bites are a quick and easy main course with a side dish. Thanks to air fryer cooking, the meat remains tender and juicy, while the vegetables are soft inside but crispy outside. With a bit of creativity, you can vary the ingredients to make a tasty and healthy dish.

Ingredients

  • 21 oz chicken breasts
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 Tropea red onion
  • to taste oregano
  • to taste roast seasoning
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

Steps

  • First, take the zucchinis, wash them under running water, dry them, and with the help of a knife and a cutting board, remove the ends, then dice them and place them in a sufficiently large bowl.

    Wash the bell pepper well, cut it in half, remove the stem and white filaments, dice it into about three-quarters of an inch pieces, and place it in the bowl with the zucchinis.

  • Peel the Tropea red onion, slice it, and add it to the other vegetables.

    Dice the chicken breast and place it in the bowl with the rest of the ingredients.

    Add the oil, salt, oregano, roast seasoning, and mix well with a spatula or a wooden spoon.

  • At this point, pour our dish into the air fryer and cook at 374°F for about half an hour, remembering to stir halfway through cooking.

  • Our country-style chicken bites are ready.

    Serve immediately!

Store in the fridge in an airtight container and heat before serving
