Ingredients

  • 4 fennel bulbs
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste dried oregano

Steps

  • Wash the fennel thoroughly under running water, dry them, and with the help of a knife and a cutting board, remove the green top and the base. Remove the outer part, cut them into quarters, and remove the central part of the core. Slice them thickly and place them in a glass bowl.

  • Add the breadcrumbs, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and dried oregano, and gently mix with a wooden spoon.

    Let it rest for about 10 minutes.

  • Pour the fennel into the basket of the air fryer and cook for about 20 minutes at 356°F (180°C), stirring halfway through cooking.

Storage and Tips…

Store in the fridge in an airtight container.

Consume within 2/3 days

If you prefer thin vegetables, you can slice them with a mandoline.
