Perfect on cold winter days, you will prepare this tasty hot drink in 10 minutes with the Thermomix or even with a simple saucepan. Below you will find both procedures.

You can enrich it with a sprinkle of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, or, to the delight of your children, plenty of whipped cream.

Also, by making it at home you can manage the amount of sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Steps

  • Put the milk, unsweetened cocoa, sugar, and cornstarch into the bowl and cook for 10 minutes at 194°F, speed 4.

    Our hot chocolate is ready

  • Put the milk, unsweetened cocoa, sugar, and cornstarch into a saucepan and, with the help of a whisk, mix vigorously until smooth and free of lumps.

    Cook over high heat until it boils, then over medium/low heat stirring to prevent the chocolate from sticking to the bottom.

    Continue cooking until the desired thickness is achieved.

Storage and Tips …

Store in the fridge covered with plastic wrap, although it usually finishes in a flash!
