MUSTACHE HEART RIDGES are an easy and quick first course to prepare.
With very few ingredients you will get a particularly creamy sauce that is very popular with children.
In case of intolerance, you can use lactose-free cream without altering the taste!
You can prepare the sauce beforehand and cook the pasta just before serving, and for a tastier version, you can add grated provola.

Ingredients
- 14 oz pasta (heart ridges or other)
- 1 shallot
- 3.5 oz bacon
- 3 cups tomato sauce
- 7/8 cup cooking cream
- to taste salt
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
Tools

Steps
First, place a pot with plenty of salted water on the stove. When it boils, cook the heart ridges.
In the meantime, let’s focus on the sauce
With the help of a knife and a cutting board, chop the onion into small pieces and if necessary, do the same with the bacon (I used the pre-cut cubes)
Take the wok and brown the bacon and onion in a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
After a few minutes, add the tomato puree, season with salt to taste, stir and cook covered for about 10 minutes
Then add the cooking cream, mix well and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
Taste and if necessary, add more salt and/or pasta cooking water
Drain the pasta and add it to our now ready sauce and mix everything gently.
Our mustache heart ridges are ready.
