Ingredients
- 1 roll puff pastry
- 1 egg yolk
- as needed sugar sprinkles
- as needed Nutella®
Tools
- Knife
- Baking Sheet
- Brush
- Small Bowl
Steps
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Unroll the puff pastry and place it with its paper on a baking sheet or a tray.
Spread the Nutella over half of the surface. Fold the pastry in half and seal the edges with your fingers.
Use the tip of a knife to cut out the shape of a broom, as shown in the photo. Make cuts along the base to create strips and roll them on themselves.
Make cuts along the handle to add detail and brush the whole surface with the beaten egg yolk.
Use the cutoffs to create small Epiphany stockings and apply the details on the handle.
Sprinkle with sugar sprinkles as desired and bake at 356°F for 25 minutes, until golden.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
