Ingredients

  • 7 oz oat pasta
  • 3.5 oz cooked ham (diced)
  • 7 oz yellow cherry tomatoes
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • to taste salt
  • to taste oregano

Steps

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the oat pasta following the instructions on the package.

    Drain the pasta and set it aside.

  • In a pan, heat the extra virgin olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic clove and let it lightly brown to flavor the oil.

  • Add the red bell pepper cut into strips, salt, and cook for about 10 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, wash the yellow cherry tomatoes, cut them into quarters, and place them in a large glass or ceramic bowl.

  • At this point, toss the oat pasta into the pan along with the cooked pepper and mix with a wooden spoon.

  • Combine the pasta with the cherry tomatoes, add the diced cooked ham, and gently mix.

  • Taste and, if necessary, adjust the salt and oil.

  • Our oat pasta is ready.

    Sprinkle the dish with a bit of oregano before serving.

Storage and Tips

Store in the fridge in an airtight container.

You can replace the yellow cherry tomatoes with red ones.
