- 12 oz orecchiette
- 10.5 oz broccoli
- 2 potatoes
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 teaspoons anchovy paste
- to taste salt

Steps
First, wash the broccoli under running water and cut them into florets.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes about 0.6 inches.
In a large pot, bring the salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and potato cubes and cook for about 10 minutes.
When the vegetables are tender but still firm, scoop them out with a slotted spoon and set them aside, keeping the cooking water.
In the same cooking water of potatoes and broccoli, throw in the orecchiette and cook them al dente following the package instructions.
Meanwhile, take a large pan and heat the extra virgin olive oil with the slightly crushed garlic cloves.
Add the anchovy paste and let it dissolve over low heat while stirring. Add the broccoli and potatoes and let them absorb the flavors for a couple of minutes.
Drain the orecchiette al dente (keeping a ladle of cooking water aside) and dive them into the pan with the vegetables.
Sauté everything over high heat, adding a bit of cooking water if necessary.
Remove the garlic and serve the orecchiette with broccoli and potatoes hot.
