Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry (round)
- 2 apples
- 5 tablespoons jam
- to taste cinnamon
- to taste lemon juice
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- to taste powdered sugar (for dusting)

Steps
Preheat the oven to 356°F
Peel the apples, remove the core, and dice them.
Place them in a bowl and add lemon juice to prevent the apples from oxidizing.
Unroll the puff pastry and place it with its parchment paper in a round baking pan.
Place the bowl in the center of the flattened dough. Spread the jam and add the drained apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon to taste.
Remove the bowl and make 4 cuts on the free circle to obtain 8 wedges as in the photo.
Fold each wedge toward the edge of the pan and seal with your hands.
Brush with the beaten egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake for about 25/30 minutes until golden.
Remove from oven and let cool.
Transfer the cake to a round cutting board or a serving plate and dust with powdered sugar.
