Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • to taste Nutella® (as much as you like!)
  • to taste sugar (shaped like hearts)
  • 1 cup dried beans

Tools

  • Cookie cutter heart-shaped

Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Roll out the puff pastry and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out about 10/12 hearts. The amount depends on the size of the cutters.

  • Place the hearts on a parchment-lined baking sheet and use a slightly smaller cutter to indent the center of the shapes. SEE PHOTO. When doing this, be careful not to puncture the pastry.

  • Fill the center of our hearts with chickpeas or dried beans, making sure to leave the edge free.

  • Bake for about 15/20 minutes until golden brown.

    Remove from oven, let cool, and then remove the legumes.

  • Place the puff pastry hearts on a slate plate and fill them with as much NUTELLA as you like.

    Decorate your bites with heart-shaped sugar or anything else you like.
