Ingredients
- 1 roll puff pastry (rectangular)
- 3.5 oz spinach, cooked, boiled
- 1.75 oz feta
- 1 egg yolk
- to taste poppy seeds
Tools
- Cookie Cutter Tie-Shaped
- Baking Sheet
- Parchment Paper
- Brush
- Small Bowl
Steps
First, preheat the oven to 356°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the puff pastry and use a tie-shaped cookie cutter to cut out 10 shapes.
Place 5 ties on the baking sheet and fill with spinach previously cooked and sautéed in butter.
Add diced feta.
Close the ties by placing the remaining shapes on top and seal the edges well with your fingers.
Brush the surface with beaten egg yolk and decorate with poppy seeds.
Bake and cook for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Storage and Tips …
Store covered with a cake dome.
Consume within 2 days.
