Puff Pastry Twists with Bacon. Ready for holiday recipes?
Today I offer you the recipe to prepare these delicious snacks perfect to serve as a appetizer or to accompany holiday aperitifs,
All you need is a sheet of puff pastry and you’re set. You can substitute the puff pastry with shortcrust pastry and possibly enrich your buffet with my collection of appetizer recipes which you can find HERE
In any case, you can enrich and/or customize them according to your tastes.

Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 egg yolk
- to taste black sesame seeds
Tools
- Baking sheet
- Brush
- Small bowl
- Cutter pastry wheel
Steps
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Unroll the puff pastry and place it on the baking sheet, keeping its parchment paper.
With the tip of a sharp knife or a pastry wheel, cut 16 strips (starting to cut from the long side).
Place 1 slice of bacon on each strip of puff pastry. Cover with the remaining strips and brush the surface with beaten egg yolk.
Sprinkle the black sesame seeds and twist the strips onto themselves to form twists.
Bake and cook for about 25 minutes until golden.
