Quick Mashed Potatoes with Bimby

The QUICK MASHED POTATOES WITH BIMBY is a comfort food that pleases the whole family.

Perfect as a side dish for any type of meal, you can enrich it according to your taste by adding grated Parmesan, diced cooked ham/speck, or fontina cheese pieces.

I prepared this super quick version with Bimby and if you have little time, you can prepare all the ingredients in the bowl, store in the fridge, and cook when needed.

For the success of this dish, I recommend using floury potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 2.2 lbs potatoes
  • 1.35 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp butter

To prepare this side dish I used the Bimby

  • Potato Peeler
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Food Processor Bimby

Steps

  • Peel the potatoes, wash them well under running water, dry them, cut them into slices about half an inch thick, and divide them into 4 parts.

  • Insert the butterfly whisk into the bowl.

  • Put the potatoes, milk, salt inside, and cook for 25 minutes at 194°F speed 1 with the basket placed on the lid instead of the measuring cup.

  • If necessary, prolong the cooking for another 5 minutes.

  • Add the diced butter and blend for 30 seconds at speed 4.

  • Our quick mashed potatoes with Bimby is ready.
