Steps
First, cook the rapini in a pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil until they are wilted and dry.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Unroll the puff pastry and place it with its paper on a baking sheet. Use a knife or a pastry cutter to make diagonal cuts on the sides, leaving a central part whole for the filling.
Arrange the slices of bacon in the center of the puff pastry so that they cover the entire length of the uncut area.
Add the rapini and grated provola cheese.
Fold the top and bottom ends of the pastry toward the center, then braid the lateral strips by overlapping them alternately, forming a braid.
Brush the surface with the beaten egg yolk and sprinkle the black sesame seeds.
Bake and cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
Our rustic pie with bacon and rapini is ready. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Enjoy your meal.
