Rustic tart with sausage and stracchino. A savory tart rich and tasty, perfect for a family lunch, a dinner with friends, or to bring to the office
This recipe is very easy and quick to prepare, requiring only a few ingredients, and is a great alternative to the Parmesan Savory Tart and the Carbonara Savory Tart.
Prepare it even when you have little time but don’t want to give up on a simple and genuine-tasting dish.

Ingredients
- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 2 potatoes, peeled, cooked, boiled (large)
- 10.5 oz sausage
- 8.8 oz stracchino cheese
- 1 egg yolk
- as needed poppy seeds
- as needed black pepper

Steps
Preheat the oven to 365 degrees Fahrenheit.
Unroll a sheet of puff pastry and place it with its parchment paper on a baking tray.
Fold the edges inward and prick the base with a fork.
Slice the boiled and peeled potatoes and distribute them on the puff pastry base. Salt and pepper to taste.
Peel the sausage, add it to the potatoes, and add the stracchino cheese in spoonfuls.
Unroll the second sheet of puff pastry and using a pastry wheel, cut strips. Place them as you like on the baking tray creating a lattice pattern.
Brush the surface with the beaten egg yolk and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Bake for 30/35 minutes until golden.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
