Savory Pies with Cauliflower and Cheese in Air Fryer
The savory pies with cauliflower and cheese are a tasty and light idea, perfect for an appetizer, an aperitif, or a quick dinner.
Thanks to the cooking in air fryer, they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a cheesy heart. A simple recipe, with a delicate flavor, ideal for the whole family!
To prepare it, you need few ingredients but in very little time, you will bring to the table a second course that will also please your children.
You can serve these pies accompanied by mashed potatoes, a vegetable side dish, or even simple white rice.

Ingredients
- 10.5 oz cauliflower
- 1 egg
- 0.4 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup grated parmesan cheese
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
- A few sprays vegetable oil (to grease the molds)

Steps
Cut the cauliflower into florets, wash it under running water, and boil it in salted water for about 15/20 minutes until it becomes soft.
Drain it, put it in a bowl and with the help of a potato masher or a fork, mash it coarsely.
Add the egg, the flour, and the parmesan, adjust with salt and pepper, and mix until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Lightly grease 4 molds suitable for the air fryer. For convenience, I use a release spray.
Pour half of the mixture into the molds. Add a broken cheese single in the center of each pie. Cover with the rest of the mixture.
Bake the pies at 338°F for 12-15 minutes until they are golden and firm.
