Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 4.23 oz butter
  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4.23 oz sugar
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 4 apples
  • as needed sugar granules
  • as needed Baking spray
  • Half a lemon (squeezed)

Tools

  • Electric beaters
  • Springform pans

Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 356 degrees.

Peel the apples, slice them very thinly and place them in a bowl with water and lemon juice, to prevent oxidation.

  • In a bowl, break the eggs, add the sugar and beat with electric beaters until you obtain a light and fluffy mixture.

Add the vanilla extract and the melted and cooled butter, mixing well. Gradually fold in the sifted flour and baking powder, continuing to mix until you have a smooth, lump-free batter.

Add some of the sliced apples to the batter, mix gently, and set aside the prettiest slices for decoration.

  • Spray the non-stick spray in the pan (or butter and flour it), pour in the batter and level it.

  • Decorate the surface with the apple slices arranged in a circle and sprinkle with the sugar granules.

Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for 40-45 minutes, until the cake is golden and cooked: always perform the skewer test before taking it out of the oven.

Our soft apple cake is ready. Let it cool before serving and decorate with sugar granules.
