Soft Coffee Tart

The soft coffee tart is a delicious cake baked in the so-called SMART PAN, a special tray needed to achieve the step for the filling. It is a cake with a great visual impact. At my home, it is never absent when guests arrive. It can be filled in many ways. The version with coffee cream is my favorite. There is also a savory version. Absolutely worth trying.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 0.6 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • Half packet baking powder
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup sunflower seed oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 packet vanillin
  • 2 cups milk
  • 0.3 cup flour
  • 0.4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee
  • chocolate sprinkles
  • white sprinkles

Tools

  • Pans (smart)
  • Food Processor (I used the Thermomix)

Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 356°F

  • Put the flour, sugar, eggs, baking powder, milk, salt, sunflower oil, and vanillin packet into the bowl and mix for 1 min speed 7

  • Pour the mixture into a greased and floured “smart” pan and level with a spatula

  • Let it bake for 20 minutes

  • Remove from the oven and let cool

  • Put the milk, sugar, eggs, flour, and coffee into the Thermomix and cook for 7 minutes at 194°F Speed 4

  • Let the obtained cream cool in a glass bowl, covered with plastic wrap

  • Take the cooled cake and fill the obtained step with the coffee cream

  • Decorate as desired with dark chocolate and white chocolate sprinkles

Store in the fridge for 2/3 days

it can be filled with custard or chocolate cream and decorated with fresh fruit
