Super Creamy Bacon Linguine

The SUPER CREAMY BACON LINGUINE is a rich and delicious dish that combines crispy bacon with a velvety cream made from eggs, cream, and parmesan.

They are perfect for a quick lunch or as an idea for the classic midnight spaghetti with friends!

It looks like carbonara but it’s not!! It’s a simple, particularly tasty, and creamy first course!

Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine
  • 4 eggs
  • 7 oz bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3.5 oz grated parmesan
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper (optional)

Steps

  • Start by bringing a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine following the package instructions to make them al dente

  • In the meantime, in a non-stick pan, sauté the bacon over medium-high heat until it becomes crispy. It will take about 5/7 minutes.

  • In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix with the grated parmesan and cream. You can add a grind of black pepper to the cream if desired.

  • Drain the linguine and sauté them over high heat in the pan with the bacon to flavor them,

  • Turn off the heat, pour the egg cream, and quickly mix to prevent the eggs from setting. If the cream seems too thick, you can add a little of the linguine cooking water to make it creamier.

  • Our super creamy bacon linguine is ready! Serve and enjoy immediately!

Storage and Tips

Consume immediately.

If you want to reheat them, add a tablespoon of heavy cream, but I recommend cooking them fresh and enjoying them right away
