  • 2 apples
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Half cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Half teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps

  • Peel the apples, remove the core, and slice them thinly.

    Soak them in a bowl with water and lemon juice to prevent browning.

  • In a medium-sized non-stick pan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.

    Add the apple slices, ground cinnamon, and cook for about 5 minutes or until they start to become tender.

  • Meanwhile, crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them with the sugar. Add the milk and cornstarch, and mix all ingredients well.

  • Pour the egg mixture gently over the apples in the pan.

    Ensure the slices are evenly distributed so that each slice is covered with eggs.

  • Cover the pan with a lid and cook the sweet apple omelette over medium-low heat for about 8-10 minutes or until the bottom has set and the top is still slightly runny.

  • At this point, flip the omelette. To do this, you can use a flat plate or a flat lid. For convenience, I use a OMELETTE PAN.

  • Continue cooking for another 5 minutes or until both sides are golden.

  • Transfer the omelette to a square slate plate and dust with powdered sugar.

  • The omelette can be served hot or cold.

Storage and tips …

Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
