Ingredients

  • 14 oz thin veal slices (thin)
  • 2 peppers (1 red and 1 yellow)
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • to taste salt
  • to taste flour

Steps

  • Wash the peppers, remove the seeds and filaments, and slice them into thin strips.

    Finely slice the onion, wash and chop the parsley.

    Cut the veal slices into strips and flour them, shaking off the excess flour.

  • In a large pan, heat 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil over medium heat

    Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent. Add the sliced peppers, salt, and cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peppers are tender.

  • In another pan, heat 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the floured veal strips and cook them quickly, stirring frequently, until they are well browned on all sides. It will take about 5 minutes.

    Deglaze with a quarter cup of white wine and let the alcohol evaporate.

  • Combine the cooked peppers with the veal strips in the pan and mix well to blend the flavors.

    Cook everything together for another 2-3 minutes, adjusting the salt if necessary.

  • Our veal strips with peppers are ready. Serve them by sprinkling fresh chopped parsley on the plates.
