Cold Stuffed Turkey Breast Rolls

The cold stuffed turkey breast rolls are an easy and quick idea for a no-cook appetizer, or even as a main dish for an everyday dinner. I confess that this type of deli meat is not among my favorites, but I was intrigued to find a somewhat appetizing way to consume it and bring it to the table. Unlike me, my little girls adore it. Stuffed this way, it has still been a huge success, so I thought I’d propose it to you as well.

Easy, quick, and no-cook, these cold turkey rolls are perfect for when you have little time to cook. Okay, not exactly no-cook, because the peppers are roasted and you can choose to cook them in the oven or in an air fryer. I swear, though, that’s the only cooking you’ll find in this recipe. Once the peppers are peeled and cut into strips, they are used to fill the turkey slices along with arugula and spreadable cheese.

Fresh and light, this recipe will impress even dinner guests and you can also prepare it in advance. Curious to find out how to make the cold stuffed turkey breast rolls? Then follow me into the kitchen, because they will be ready in a click!

Ingredients

  • 6 slices turkey breast
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 7 oz spreadable cheese
  • arugula (to taste)

Tools

  • Air Fryer
  • Cutting board
  • Knife

Steps

  • To prepare the cold stuffed turkey rolls, first wash the peppers, pat them dry with paper towels, and roast them in an air fryer at 375°F for 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can roast the peppers in the oven at 350°F for 30 or 40 minutes.

After the cooking time, let the peppers cool slightly and peel them. You’ll see that the skin comes off very easily. Then remove the stem and inner filaments and cut them into 3/4-inch wide strips.

Spread a tablespoon of spreadable cheese on a slice of turkey, add the arugula, and also some strips of red and yellow pepper. Then roll the slice to form a roll.
