Feta Cream with Roasted Cherry Tomatoes, a healthy, light, and delicious dish, perfect for hot summer days. I don’t know about you, but for me, summer is mostly about enjoying cold dishes. I swear I find it increasingly difficult to eat pasta, rice, or hot main courses, and let alone feel like staying at the stove. So, if you’re in the same situation, you must try this tasty recipe. It’s extremely simple and quick to prepare, and you won’t even need to turn on the oven because the cherry tomatoes are roasted in an air fryer.
If you want to be brave, no one will stop you from turning on the oven, but if you have an air fryer at home, I recommend using it. It doesn’t heat up and cooks in no time! Moreover, for those who love feta like me, this recipe is truly delicious. The contrast of the feta pairs very well with the sweetness of the roasted cherry tomatoes. And now, let’s go to the kitchen together, because the feta cream with roasted cherry tomatoes will be ready in a click!

Ingredients
- 7 oz feta
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1.5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- smoked paprika (to taste)
- salt (to taste)
- 5.5 oz cherry tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp honey
- dried oregano (to taste)
- salt (to taste)
Tools
- Air Fryer
- Blender
- Cutting Board
- Knife
- Jar or bowl
- Garlic Press
Steps
First, wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. Then place them in a baking dish side by side. Separately, prepare the dressing. To mix the emulsion conveniently, I used a jar with a lid, but you can also put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with a spoon.
Then put the oil, peeled and crushed garlic clove with a garlic press, oregano, honey, and salt in a jar. Close with the lid and shake for a few moments until all the ingredients are well combined.
Then distribute the dressing over the cherry tomatoes, place the baking dish in the air fryer basket, and cook at 392°F for 10 minutes. Obviously, use a baking dish that can fit in the basket. Alternatively, you can also cook the cherry tomatoes in the oven for about 20/25 minutes. After cooking, remove and set aside.
In the meantime, while the cherry tomatoes are cooking, prepare the feta cream. Transfer the cheese to the blender and also add the tahini, lemon juice, paprika, oil, and a little salt. Blend until smooth and homogeneous.
Then distribute the cream on a plate and arrange the previously cooked cherry tomatoes from the air fryer.
The feta cream with cherry tomatoes is ready to be enjoyed with plenty of bread or crostini. Great as a main dish or for an aperitif. If you prefer, add more chopped dry oregano before serving.
