Ingredients
- 11 oz pasta
- 4.2 cups water
- 2 tsp coarse salt
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 5.8 oz canned tuna in water
- 3.5 oz green olives (pitted)
- 0.9 oz capers in vinegar
- 2.8 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- salt (to taste)
Tools
- Air Fryer
- Pressure Cooker
- Bowl
- Cutting Board
- Knife
Steps
First, wash the red bell pepper and cook it in the air fryer at 392°F for 20 minutes, turning it halfway through cooking. The outer part should be very roasted to make it easier to peel. Once roasted, remove it from the basket and let it cool.
In the meantime, cook the pasta in the pressure cooker. Place the pasta with water and coarse salt in the pot, close it, and bring it to maximum power. From the start of the whistle or once it reaches the first ring, if you have a pot like mine, lower the heat and cook for 4 minutes. Cooking times are indicative as they depend on the type of pot you have. In any case, the pasta in the pressure cooker should cook for half the time indicated on the pasta package.
Once the cooking time is over, gradually release the steam, open the pot, and drain the pasta, also passing it under cold water to stop the cooking. Transfer it to a bowl, season with a bit of oil, mix, and let it cool.
Now take the red bell pepper again, peel it, remove the stem and seeds inside, and place it in a blender. Season with salt, add a bit of oil, and blend until you obtain a cream. Now clean the yellow bell pepper, removing the stem and seeds inside, and cut it into pieces. Then add them to the pasta along with the drained tuna, olives, and capers rinsed under water.
Add a bit more oil if necessary, mix, and serve at the table.
