Tips, Variations, and Storage
– For a more indulgent version of the water cake, try adding chocolate chips to the batter; or, instead of 30 g of flour, try replacing it with an equal weight of unsweetened cocoa powder, and you’ll get a delicious chocolate cake.
– You can replace half of the water with orange juice to give an extra citrus note to your cake. Finally, I recommend trying the coffee version of this wonderful water cake as well, always replacing with coffee (for example, a glass) the equivalent amount of water.
– The water cake can be stored in a cool, dry place for about 3 days.
