Ingredients for preparing bread rolls with tuna and olives

  • 3 slices sandwich bread (long)
  • 4.2 oz canned tuna in oil (drained)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2.8 oz Taggiasca olives
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Steps for preparing bread rolls

  • Drain the tuna well and collect it in a bowl. Add the mayonnaise, some parsley, and mix well.

  • Place the pitted Taggiasca olives in a food processor. If you prefer, you can also use pitted green olives. Add the parsley and chop everything coarsely.

  • Flatten the slices of sandwich bread well. Then spread the olive mixture and cover with the tuna mixture. Roll from the longer side to get 3 sausage-like rolls. Wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least a couple of hours. Remove the plastic wrap and cut each roll into 4-5 slices.

Storage

You can store them for a couple of days, but I recommend cutting the slices just before serving.
