Preparation of Pan di Stelle Christmas Trees and Mascarpone Cream

  • In a saucepan or bowl, put the cream. Place it on very low heat and bring to the brink of boiling. You can also do it in the microwave as I did. Cut the chocolate into very small pieces. Add the chocolate and butter to the cream, removed from the heat, and mix very well until it melts completely.

  • Let it cool at room temperature. Place it in the fridge for a few hours; I prepare it the night before and leave it in the fridge for 12 hours. Then whip it with the electric whisks until it becomes fluffy.

  • Fill a piping bag and form the trees on each biscuit, simulating Christmas trees. Decorate with colorful sprinkles. Keep in the fridge until serving.

Storage

You can store the little trees in the fridge for two or three days.
