  • 5 slices sandwich bread (long)
  • 7 oz cream cheese

  • 5 oz smoked salmon
  • 2 oz lamb's lettuce

Steps for preparing the savory salmon log

  • Spread out the plastic wrap. Arrange the long slices, slightly overlapping them, then flatten them with a rolling pin. Roughly chop some chives and mix with 5 oz of cream cheese.

  • Spread the cream cheese over the bread slices. Cover with sliced salmon and then with lamb’s lettuce (or arugula if you prefer). Roll up tightly with the plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours.

  • After the resting time, remove the plastic wrap. Cover the log with the remaining cream cheese. Cut a large slice at an oblique angle and reposition it on the main roll to form a Y. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Storage

You can store it for up to a couple of days in the refrigerator.
