Water Ring Cake, a dessert that can be prepared in a few minutes, very soft and delicious, perfect for everyday breakfasts and snacks. I scented it with lemon, but vanilla or rum will work just fine as an aroma. If you love ring cakes, try dad’s ring cake, a dunking cake my dad used to make for me when I was little.

Steps to Prepare the Water Ring Cake
Break the eggs and collect them whole in a bowl. Start working them with the electric mixer, adding sugar. When they are pale and frothy, still working with the electric mixer, add the oil.
Add the sifted flour alternating with the water. Also add the sifted baking powder. Finish with sifted lemon zest and salt. Mix with a hand whisk until you have a homogeneous mixture.
Grease a 9.5-inch ring cake pan. Pour the mixture. Sprinkle with sugar granules and bake at 350°F, static, for about 45 minutes, do the toothpick test anyway. Let cool before unmolding the cake.
Storage
You can store the ring cake for two or three days under a glass dome.
