Broccoli Savory Pie Steps
Let’s start by cleaning the broccoli and cutting them into florets, then boil them in water for a few minutes. Meanwhile, cook the potatoes in another pot. Once cooked, place the broccoli in a bowl, add the potatoes which you have mashed with a potato masher, the cheese, a tablespoon of breadcrumbs, and mix everything well until you form a homogeneous mixture.
Add salt and pepper, the egg, and mix well to combine. In a 8×12 inch baking pan, lined with parchment paper, make a base with the breadcrumbs, and transfer half of the mixture, pressing down well. Add the cheese slices and cover everything with the remaining broccoli and potato mixture, sprinkle a little breadcrumbs and parmesan on top of the mixture, press well with the back of a spoon, and bake at 390°F for 20/25 minutes. When the surface turns golden, turn off the oven. Serve immediately
