Steps for Cabbage Rolls with Potatoes and Cheese
Boil the cabbage in lightly salted water for 5 minutes. Transfer it with a skimmer to a bowl of very cold water and after 5 minutes spread the leaves on a towel and let them dry
Peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks, steam them for about 20 minutes until tender. Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic with the sage leaves, rosemary, and parsley. Place the mixture in a saucepan with 4 tablespoons of oil and sauté over low heat for 3 minutes.
Take the potatoes and pass them through a potato masher. Place the mashed potatoes in a bowl, add salt, pepper, and flavor with the aromatic oil obtained. Once warm, also add the cheese cut into pieces, mix.
With a knife, remove the toughest part of the central rib from the cabbage leaves. Spread a strip of potato filling on each leaf and roll them up, placing them one by one in an ovenproof dish lined with parchment paper. Brush the rolls with the remaining aromatic oil. Place in the oven to gratinate for 5/10 minutes at 356°F (180°C). Serve hot
