  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 sprigs Thyme
  • 2 tbsps Brown Sugar
  • as needed Oregano (dried)
  • as needed Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • as needed Salt
  • 1.4 tbsps Worcestershire Sauce

Preparation of confit tomatoes

  • Wash the cherry tomatoes, dry them with a towel. Cut them in half and place them on a baking tray previously covered with parchment paper.

    Prepare a mixture of thyme and garlic and spread it over the tomatoes, continue with the sugar, oregano, salt, and a splash of Worcestershire sauce, finally put a drop of oil on each tomato. Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for about half an hour, then at 320°F for an hour, or until the water has completely evaporated, giving a slightly roasted appearance but not completely dry.
