Air fryer crostini, ready in 5 minutes, perfect to serve with an aperitif or with soups and creamy soups, or to snack on in front of the TV.
Air fryer crostini are very easy to prepare, perfect for using up leftover bread and without added preservatives.
You can make the crostini in two ways: the first is to prepare them without any seasoning, just the bread; the second is to season the bread with extra virgin olive oil and add a sprinkle of spices if desired.
For cooking with the air fryer, we used our new Moulinex Easy Fry & Grill, a digital oil-free air fryer with an electric grill.

- as needed dried oregano or other spices (optional)
Tools for air fryer crostini:
- 1 Air fryer Moulinex
- 1 Knife
- 1 Plate
Steps for preparing and cooking crostini in the air fryer:
Place the bread on a wooden cutting board and slice it into pieces about two fingers thick, then cut each slice into three parts and each part into 3/4 pieces to get cubes; you can choose the size based on how you plan to use them.
Classic crostini:
Place the crostini on the air fryer’s grill and cook at 350°F for 4 minutes; halfway through cooking, open the fryer and move the crostini a little; we like them nicely golden and cooked them for 5 minutes.
Seasoned crostini:
Once the bread is cut into cubes, put it in a bowl, add extra virgin olive oil, and mix well so that the bread is well-seasoned; you can also add chopped oregano, rosemary, or a sprinkle of hot chili pepper.
Place the seasoned crostini on the fryer grill and cook at 350°F for 4/5 minutes, depending on the level of browning you prefer, remembering to turn them halfway through cooking.
When ready, place the crostini on a plate and serve.
Advice:
We do not use any program to prepare the crostini but just set the temperature and cooking time, then press the air fry button.
