Air fryer French fries, an easy and quick recipe with frozen fries, perfect for the whole family and even for kids because the fries are not fried in oil but cooked with the air blast and are not greasy. We didn’t even add a little oil recommended to make them even lighter.
For this recipe, we used the Cosori air fryer with a door instead of a basket, and it comes with various accessories including a basket for cooking fries. The basket can hold up to 900 grams of fries.

Steps for Preparing and Cooking Air Fryer French Fries:
For this recipe, we used our second air fryer with a door, and it comes with a basket for cooking fries. If you don’t have this model, just put the frozen fries in the basket of your fryer on the grill without using containers or parchment paper. This way, you’ll get an even cooking. We recommend turning the fries a couple of times during cooking by removing the basket from the fryer and shaking the fries.
The cooking times remain unchanged.
Place the still-frozen fries inside the basket, add 2 or 3 puffs of extra virgin olive oil (we didn’t add any), set the air fry to 356°F for 11 minutes. The fryer takes a couple of minutes to heat up, then with a sound and message on the display, it informs you when the oven is hot. At that moment, place the basket with the help of the provided tool, then press the basket cooking button and let it cook. When the cooking finishes, it beeps, then reprogram the fryer skipping the heating step and cook at 374°F for 8 minutes.
The times also vary greatly depending on the size of the fries and the type of cooking you prefer. We recommend reading the cooking times on the fries package.
Once cooked, remove the basket with the appropriate tool. Be careful as the basket is very hot. Then open it, place the fries on a plate, salt them to taste, and serve immediately.
