  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 packet baking powder

  • 1 Knife
  • 2 Bowls
  • 1 Springform pan

Steps for preparing and baking the apple cake without butter:

  • Cut each apple into 4 parts, then remove the core and peel it. Slice it thinly with a mandoline. Once all the apples are ready, add a tablespoon of sugar (taken from the total amount), the orange or lemon juice, mix well and let rest while you prepare the batter.

  • In a large bowl, place the two eggs and sugar, and with the whisk, beat the ingredients well, then add the vegetable oil and milk, and mix well.

Sift the flour and baking powder and incorporate them into the other ingredients. Mix well to obtain a smooth and homogeneous batter, finally add the apples with their liquid and fold them into the mixture.

  • Line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper; if you prefer a taller cake, use an 8-inch pan. Pour the batter and level it well with a spatula.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30/35 minutes (always do the toothpick test).

Let your cake cool and dust it with powdered sugar, if desired.
