Ingredients for Cauliflower Pizza:
- 14 oz fresh cauliflower
- 1 whole egg (at room temperature)
- to taste fine salt
- 2 tbsps grated Grana Padano
- 1 tbsp flour
- 5 tbsps tomato sauce
- 1 mozzarella
- 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- to taste oregano

Steps for Preparing and Cooking Cauliflower Pizza:
Wash the cauliflower well, dry it, and cut it into pieces, then put it in the blender and blend it until you get a flour-like consistency.
Put the chopped cauliflower in a cotton cloth and squeeze it well to remove all the water. Then put it in a large bowl, add the egg, salt, grated Grana Padano or Parmesan, and finally the flour. Mix the batter well with a spoon until smooth and homogeneous.
Line a baking pan with a diameter of 10 inches with baking paper, pour in the mixture, and press it down well with your hands to give it a circular shape. Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for about 20 minutes until it starts to brown well.
In a bowl, mix the tomato sauce, oil, and salt, stir well, and distribute it over the base.
Take the mozzarella, dry it well, and cut it into cubes or you can put it in the potato masher as we did. Add a sprinkle of oregano and bake again for another 10 minutes until the mozzarella is well melted and has taken on a golden color.
Serve the pizza immediately, cut into slices.
