  • to taste tomato sauce
  • to taste salt
  • to taste oregano
  • 3 leaves fresh basil

Tools for the margherita pizza with ready-made dough:

  • 1 Tray
  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Knife

Steps for preparing and cooking the margherita pizza with ready-made dough:

  • Take the pizza roll package out of the fridge and let it rest for 10 minutes without opening the package.

After the time has passed, open the package, lightly oil the tray and unroll the dough onto the tray, removing the parchment paper, let it rest for another 20 minutes.

Letting the dough sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes is crucial for making a good pizza, this way the dough returns to room temperature and the yeast reactivates.

  • In a bowl, mix the tomato sauce or pulp, add salt, a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, and stir well.

Dry the mozzarella well and cut it into cubes, let it sit on absorbent paper so it loses the conservation liquid.

  • After the dough has reactivated, spread a layer of tomato sauce or pulp on the base, add salt and the mozzarella, and drizzle with a little oil.

Bake in a preheated fan oven at 375°F for 15/20 minutes until golden, take the pizza out of the oven, decorate with basil leaves, and serve immediately.

  • We used rectangular pizza dough, round ones are also available in the market. We recommend buying high-quality dough for the best results.
