  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Economical
  • Preparation time: 5 Minutes
  • Portions: 6/8 people
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients for Nutella Pandoro Hedgehog:

  • 1 Pandoro
  • 4.6 oz Nutella
  • 0.42 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 M&M's
  • 4 Mikado sticks
  • to taste powdered sugar

Tools for Nutella Pandoro Hedgehog:

  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Electric whisk
  • 1 Cutting board

Preparation of Nutella Pandoro Hedgehog:

  • Take the pandoro and cut it into slices about 0.79 inches thick, then cut each slice in half.

In a bowl, put the heavy cream and whip it with the electric whisks, then set aside 2/3 tablespoons for decoration, add the Nutella, and incorporate it well into the cream, always using the electric whisks.

  • Take a large rectangular plate and start assembling the hedgehog, placing 9 slices of pandoro one behind the other, staggering them (as in the photo), press them lightly so that they stand well.

  • Use only slices of pandoro without initial or final crust.

Take a leftover slice and cut it into a triangle; this will be the hedgehog’s snout.

Place the pandoro slices on a cutting board for the plate and place a couple of heaping tablespoons of cream on top, level it well with a spatula, do not put anything on one slice because it is the one that closes the hedgehog.

Reassemble the hedgehog, with the Nutella facing the outside, and press it lightly.

Place the snout on the hedgehog and cover it with the whipped cream set aside, place the two M&M’s as eyes and cut 4 Mikado sticks for the whiskers.

Dust with powdered sugar (use the one provided with the pandoro) and serve your very delicious dessert.
