Ingredients for Nutella Sandwich Bread Crescents in Air Fryer:

  • 4 slices sandwich bread (crustless)
  • 4 tablespoons Nutella
  • to taste powdered sugar

Tools for Nutella Sandwich Bread Crescents in Air Fryer:

  • 1 Air Fryer
  • 1 Pastry Cutter
  • 1 Spoon
  • 1 Rolling Pin

Steps for Preparing and Cooking Nutella Sandwich Bread Crescents in Air Fryer:

  • Take the slices of sandwich bread, if they still have the crust, cut it off, and then flatten them with a rolling pin.

Take a 6-inch pastry cutter or a dumpling mold as we did, and cut the bread to obtain a disc of approximately 6 inches in diameter.

  • If you have the dumpling mold, as seen in the video:

Place a bread disc on the mold, put a tablespoon of Nutella in the center of the bread, and then close the mold, sealing the edges of the bread.

If you used the pastry cutter:

Place the cut bread discs on a cutting board, place the Nutella in the center, fold the disc in half, and use a fork to press along the semicircular edge to seal the borders.

  • Place the crescents on the air fryer rack, secure them with a toothpick, and cook at 356°F for 3 minutes. This ensures the bread becomes crispy while the Nutella inside stays soft.

Remove the crescents from the fryer, remove the toothpick, dust them with powdered sugar, and serve immediately. This way, the bread remains crispy and soft, if it cools down, it gets hard and loses its fragrance.

  • French toast version:

With the addition of a simple step in beaten egg, this delight acquires an even crispier outside and softer inside, for a result that will conquer with the first bite.
The air fryer makes everything even more practical and lighter: no frying, but a uniform and delicious browning that recalls traditional desserts. The Nutella filling remains creamy and enveloping, creating an irresistible contrast with the crispy and golden exterior.
After making the crescents, pass them in beaten egg, and then place them in the air fryer and cook at 356°F for 6/7 minutes, until they become golden and crispy.

Allow to cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve immediately.
