Ingredients for Pasta with Mussels using the Magic Cooker:

  • 1.1 lbs mussels (frozen)
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 7 oz canned tomatoes (diced)
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsps chopped parsley
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • to taste chili peppers
  • 14 oz short dry pasta (preferred shape)

Tools for Pasta with Mussels using the Magic Cooker:

  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 Lid magic cooker
  • 1 Knife

Steps for preparing and cooking Pasta with Mussels using the Magic Cooker:

  • Wash the cherry tomatoes well, dry them, and cut them into 4 parts.

    Dice the canned tomatoes.

In a saucepan, put the extra virgin olive oil, garlic cloves, prepared cherry tomatoes, and canned tomatoes with their preservation liquid. Cover with the Magic Cooker and cook on high heat for a few minutes. Now add the frozen mussels, pasta, and water. Salt, pepper, add a little chili pepper if you like, and cover with the lid. Cook on high heat until it starts to boil, then lower the heat and cook according to the pasta cooking times.

  • Halfway through cooking, stir the pasta, add the chopped parsley, and finish cooking.

If you see that the pasta is too dry, add more water, little by little, please.

The dose is 1 cup of water for every 100 grams of pasta, but it can vary slightly depending on the preparations.

Serve the pasta with mussel sauce very hot.

  • If you wish, you can also use spaghetti. The only precaution is that if you use them whole, the pasta must cook in a saucepan slightly larger in diameter than the spaghetti length, otherwise, you must break them in half to use a narrower saucepan.
