  • 0.63 cup vegetable broth

Tools for sauerkraut and potatoes in the multicooker:

  • 1 multicooker
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board

Steps for preparing and cooking sauerkraut and potatoes in the multicooker:

  • Remove the outermost ugly leaves of the cabbage, then cut it in half and slice it thinly, removing the toughest ribs.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into regular cubes; peel the onion and slice it thinly.

In the electric pot basket, put the extra virgin olive oil, the previously sliced onion, and the garlic clove, turn on the device, and rotate the control panel knob to the right to reach the SAUTE program, press the clock image and set 5 minutes of cooking, always turning the knob to the right, press start to begin cooking.

When the oil is hot, add the sauerkraut and let it season well, then deglaze with the white wine and when it has evaporated, add the potatoes, salt, pepper, and the vegetable broth.

  • Turn off the pot (you do not have to wait for the program to end) and turn it on again, close the lid and lock it, then with the control panel knob, set the STEAM or BRAISE program and set 4 minutes of cooking, press the start button, the pot display will show HEAT (heating phase where the pot will come to pressure and a red valve next to the vent valve will rise) then the cooking time will start, at the end you will hear whistles to indicate the end of cooking.

Turn off the pot, press the button on the pot lid with the steam image and open the pot.

    Gently stir and serve.

  • COOKING WITH CECOTEC OLLA MULTICOOKER, use the sauté program and then pressure cooking, ingredients remain unchanged but for cooking calculate 7 minutes, this time difference is due to the fact that the Moulinex pot takes longer to heat compared to this one.

COOKING WITH CLASSIC PRESSURE COOKER, turn on the gas and put all the ingredients in the pot as per recipe, then close the lid, bring the pot to pressure, lower the flame and cook for 7 minutes.
