Stuffed chicken breast, a tasty and easy-to-make recipe with light cooking in the air fryer or in the oven if you don’t have one.
Stuffed chicken breast is perfect for the whole family, it can be prepared in very little time and is super delicious, excellent paired with a fresh salad or a good dish of French fries also cooked in the fryer or in the oven.
For cooking with the fryer, we used our new air fryer Moulinex Easy Fry & Grill, digital oil-free fryer with electric grill.

Ingredients for Stuffed Chicken Breast:
- 4 slices of chicken breast (thinly sliced)
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 1.8 oz grated cheese (that melts)
- to taste salt
- to taste milk
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- 1 medium egg
- to taste breadcrumbs
Tools for Stuffed Chicken Breast:
- 1 Air Fryer
- 3 Plates
- 1 Meat Tenderizer
Preparation and Cooking of Stuffed Chicken Breast:
Place the chicken breast slices on a cutting board, and flatten them well with a meat tenderizer.
Lightly salt them.
On each slice of meat, place a slice of prosciutto and a piece of cheese, fold the meat over and secure it well with toothpicks.
In a plate, put the egg and a splash of milk and beat well with a fork, adding a pinch of salt.
In another plate, put the breadcrumbs.
Take a chicken breast and pass it first in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs, making sure it adheres well.
Repeat the same procedure with all the meat.
COOKING IN THE AIR FRYER.
Place two pieces of stuffed chicken in the fryer on the grill, spray a little extra virgin olive oil on top and cook at 356°F for 10 minutes, check the cooking, they should be nicely golden.
Cook the other two pieces following the same cooking times.
COOKING WITH TRADITIONAL OVEN.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper, place the stuffed chicken breast on it, sprinkle a little oil on top and bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 15 minutes, until nicely golden.
You can replace the prosciutto and grated cheese with cooked ham and melting cheese if you prefer a milder flavor version.
For this recipe, we considered 2 pieces of stuffed meat per person.
